ORDERING
All Karina Matias Jewelry is individually made-to-order especially for you! Some pieces may require up to two weeks for delivery. If you need a rush order, please contact us directly at orders@karinamatias.com We will make every attempt to expedite your request at no additional charges.
After we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email stating order status and expected ship date.
After the items are carefully made, they are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (domestic shipping only). Please view our S&H policy bellow.
Because many pieces at www.karinamatias.com are limited production or one of a kind, in rare instances the same item may be purchased by two different customers. In such cases, the item will be sold to the customer with the earlier purchase time, and parties will be informed by email.
CUSTOM/ SPECIAL ORDERS
We will be extremely happy to create a one of a kind jewelry especially for you! Karina will start with your thoughts and use her creativity and experience to transform your idea. Please keep in mind that most custom orders take 3-5 weeks to create. In addition to custom orders, we are often able to resize or change the length of most of our pieces. Please contact us with your requests and ideas. Custom orders are not returnable or exchangeable.
PAYMENTS
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express cards, Diners Club, and electronic checks through PayPal. However, if you decide to pay by check, your order will not be processed and shipped until your check has been cleared.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
To keep shipping charges low to you, Karina Matias uses the United Postal Services (USPS). We ship all domestic orders through Priority Mail (2-3 business days) with delivery confirmation.
If you would like to arrange Express Mail (overnight) or a different shipping method, please contact us before placing an order. Orders placed after 4 pm (Eastern Time) will be processed the next business day.
We will be happy to ship your order thru an account you may have with another carrier. Please contact us at orders@karinamatias.com to request a different shipping method.

International Orders:
If you are interested in placing an international order, please email us at orders@karinamatias.com before placing an order. We will then email you back with a form to fill out so we can process your order manually and determine shipping rates. International orders are shipped via USPS Global Express or Global Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified.
Once the package leaves our store, you should receive it within 3-5 business days (Global Express) or 4-6 days (Global Priority), not including any time spent in customs in the U.S. or your country. International orders may incur customs fees. You are responsible for paying the customs and import duties. We cannot determine in advance what these charges will be. Please contact your local customs office to determine the customs costs.
Important: If for any reason, your package is returned to us, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges.
RETURNS/EXCHANGE/REFUND
Karina Matias stands for your complete satisfaction. If for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your order, simply return the item within 7 days upon receipt for a refund or exchange. Please email us at orders@karinamatias.com and include your invoice number. We will send you instructions and a Return Authorization Number.
Please carefully pack and insure any returns, as we cannot be responsible for any lost or damaged packages. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. All items must be unworn and returned in the same condition as they were sent. Worn jewelry will not be accepted for exchange. Karina Matias deserves the right to refuse any returns that do not follow our requirements.
REPAIRS
We stand behind the quality of all Karina Matias Jewelry and we want you to be happy more than anything!!! However, if your jewelry is in need of repair from normal usage wear and tear, please contact us at orders@karinamatias.com
For all jewelry purchased over 3 months, there will be a $15 per piece repair charge, plus shipping.
CARE
Please take care when wearing your Karina Matias jewelry pieces. Treat them as fine jewelry and:
- Do not wear them while showering, swimming, or cleaning.
- Put jewelry on after using cosmetics, hair spray or perfumes to avoid contact with substances and chemicals, which may cause damage.
- Store pieces separately so it will not scratch other jewelry.
- Never use chlorine bleach to clean jewelry. When caring for your jewelry, never use anything but 100% cotton as a polishing cloth since paper, polyester, and coarse fabrics often contain wood fibers or synthetics. These materials may impart fine scratches in the metal, especially on sterling silver.
- To help retard tarnish on sterling silver, wrap the piece in jeweler's tissue paper and place it inside a plastic zip lock bag and seal.”
